Pretty generic but with such sparkly artwork~ Not too bad for a first game.

Story

Kouhei is a pretty average guy – he goes to school with his childhood friends and has a happy school life, he also works part-time at a resteraunt called “Blau” with his classmate Shizuka. However, Kouhei’s father has just decided to remarry since his wife died 10 years ago. Since so much time had passed, Kouhei had no reason to object. It turns out though, that he will aso be getting 2 new sisters – popular senpai Kaori and shy kouhai Chisato. Will they be able to be a family?

Well, considering that all 3 scenario writers have basically just worked on nuki-ge, they made a decent job of the story. However, the story is extremely generic and quite boring overall, there was absolutely nothing to the routes apart from some H-scenes and dere dere moments. I suppose Kaori’s route did have a little to it, but the rest never. However, the common route was quite fun to play through.

Characters

Akagi Kaori

Kaori is Kouhei’s new older sister and she’s a very popular senpai at his school who appears to be good at everything. She’s very outgoing and has no problems talking to people and is quite protective and caring over her little sister Chisato. Kaori is also very kind and won’t hesitate to help a friend in need. Her dream is to become a doctor.

Kaori is basically the perfect older sister. However, i felt that she was a little “too perfect” for my liking.

Akagi Chisato

Chisato is Kouhei’s new younger sister who he meets in the street one day when he saves her from a dog. She’s very shy and quiet and is also afraid of men. Chisato has just started attending the school that everyone else goes to. She enjoys gardening and is also quite a good cook.

Chisato is the adorable imouto of the game, but there was nothing really special about her either.

Ise Haruka

Haruka is Kouhei’s childhood friend, she’s mostly energetic and gets on well with everyone, however, she can be a little tsun towards Kouhei sometimes. She’s also quite good at cooking and likes gardening.

Haruka is the perfect childhood friend(notice a trend here?). She was pretty cute.

Kirishima Shizuka

Shizuka is Kouhei’s classmate who is very quiet in school and would rather read a book at lunch than socialize with other people. She also works at the resteraunt “Blau” as a waitress. However, behind her cold exterior is a cute and shy girl.

Shizuka is the obligatory shy girl who likes reading. I liked her a little, although she was annoying me a bit when she ignored everyone in favour of reading.

Yamashiro Misa

Misa is the same age as Kouhei and hangs around with his group of friends quite a bit even though she goes to a more upper-class school than everyone else since she’s basically Kaori’s fangirl.  She has just recently started to work at resteraunt “Blau” as a waitress. Misa is essentially a tsundere ojou-sama character.

Misa was definitely my favourite character in the game (since i love tsunderes anyways), her dere side was especially cute and watching her work hard grow more confident at work was quite heartwarming.

Artwork

The adorable artwork by Kamiya Maneki is definitely the main selling point of the game – it’s just so sparkly! Most of the artwork had perfect proportions and i am a massive fan of the shading style used. There were enough CGs and character sprites, plus the backgrounds were pretty nice too. My only complaint is that the artist draws really odd elbows xD

Music

Song: LOVE HEART by Hiromi

The opening song is pretty cute but not one of my all-time favourites. The same can be said for the ending song too. The BGM was pretty lackluster too. The voice acting, on the other hand, was done very well and all the characters had suitable voices, the voice actors also portrayed their characters emotions well (not like there were many emotional scenes anyways).

System

The system in this game is very nice and clean overall and i did think the text box was really quite pretty. My only complain is how plain the title screen looks. I mean, there’s nothing really on it apart from he title and some boring buttons!

Conclusion

“Relations sister x sister” is overall, a pretty generic game which has really beautiful artwork. The characters are all generic too (although i did have a soft spot for Misa). Although, for a first game Aile could’ve done a lot worse. In my opinion, only play this game if you’re a fan of very romance focused games with a good number of H-scenes and stunning artwork.

This was actually one of the shortest reviews i’ve written, probably because i gave up on talking about the characters since there wasn’t much to say about them xD The next review i’m going to do will be Yomehapi since it’s freshest in my mind.
